Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-13
Plain version: if you change your mind within the first two weeks (monthly) or first month (annual), we'll give you your money back. After that, we won't — but you can always cancel to stop future charges. Specifics below.
1. Refund windows
- Monthly subscriptions (Real $1.99/mo, Built $9.99/mo) — refundable within 14 calendar days of the initial charge.
- Annual subscriptions (Real $19.99/yr, Built $99.99/yr) — refundable within 30 calendar days of the initial charge.
- Outside the windows above, payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future billing.
2. What "initial charge" means
The first time you are billed for a particular subscription. Renewals (the second month, the second year, etc.) are not eligible for a refund window — you have already had access for one full period.
3. How to request a refund
- Email support@realistgpt.com from the address on your account.
- Subject line: "Refund request — [your email]".
- Include the date of the charge you want refunded.
- We aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Funds may take additional time to appear on your statement depending on your card issuer.
4. When we won't refund
- Requests made after the applicable refund window has closed.
- Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service (abuse, prompt-extraction attempts, illegal content, payment fraud).
- Renewal charges where you had reasonable opportunity to cancel and did not.
- Heavy or commercial usage during the refund window where the bulk of paid quota has been consumed.
5. Cancellations
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel from your billing portal at any time.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved within a day. Chargebacks filed before contacting support may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under your local consumer-protection law (for example, EU/UK "right of withdrawal").
